The shape
Most pillows are one flat block that asks your neck to adapt to it. This one is moulded into five areas, each doing a different job depending on how you lie down.
Measurements are nominal and taken from the moulded foam core. Memory foam is a soft material — expect small variations between units.
The difference is not the material. Both are foam. The difference is that one of them has a shape.

Probably, yes. A contoured pillow holds your head in a fixed position, and if you have spent years on a flat one it takes a few nights to stop noticing. Give it a week before you decide.
Unzip the cover and machine wash it. Do not wash the foam core — memory foam holds water and will not dry properly. Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, and let it air dry completely before use.
Memory foam holds more heat than down or feather. The cover is a breathable knit, which helps, but if you sleep very hot this is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
Memory foam softens over time. Expect two to three years of proper support with normal use, and replace it when it stops springing back.

It does hold more heat than the pillow it replaced. The page says so plainly, so I cannot really complain. The knit cover helps and I sleep with the window open anyway.
Unzips, goes in the machine, comes out fine. It is cut to the contour so it does not bunch up. Small thing, but it is why this one will last me longer than the last three.
I am not going to claim it cured anything. I am saying I wake up without the tightness I had every morning for two years. That is enough for me.
Ordered one to test it. My partner kept stealing it, so now there are two. The lowered wings on the sides are the detail nobody else seems to bother with.
Well made, and clearly designed rather than moulded at random. It is firmer than the pillow I came from — comfortable now, but I would call it supportive rather than soft.
